This equals to a little less than 7MPG for you americans. At this level, I could buy an Aventador and it would be considered economical haha

I’m honestly starting to wonder if the gas pump will end up struggling at one point lol... I have yet to do an actual track day with this car. The results could be interesting. My all time highest on a track was 55L/100km or roughly 4mpg with the Corvette :)

What car and how was it driven? From the results, I’m assuming you had fun!

That’s all rather secondary. The amount of smiles per liter are more important.
How much does a liter of gasoline cost in Japan?

Well, are we talking about MY smiles or my wife’s when she sees the bills? :)
I have to use 93 octane US/98 octane EU in my car. Last fill up was 110yen per liter (0.84 euros).
Regular octane is 100 yen right now.

With those prices burning through a bit of extra fuel doesn’t hurt as much.

At this level, fractions of a mile per gallon matter... My parents have a vehicle that does about the same, at 6-8mpg.

Nice, my personal best (worst) was 7.74. Doing nearly 200 miles at around 7 to 10 mph average

That’s impressive.
Here’s one from a 40-odd tonne truck...

Lightly tuned SA22C RX7 Turbo... Maybe 15km were done with a very heavy foot. The rest was done normally, without trying to be economical.
If I REALLY try, I can reach 12 to 13L/100km... Freeway only, I’ve reached 9.8L/100km once :)

wow, it’s about 1,28€ here in France, I’d DD my RX-8 with gas this cheap!
